public abstract class AbstractEdgeViewTask extends AbstractTask
The base class for all tasks that need to operate on an edge view and possibly its associated network view.

Cytoscape Backwards Compatibility (Abstract Class): This class is abstract and meant to be extended by users. This means that we may add methods for minor version updates. Methods will only be removed for major version updates.

To use this in your app, include the following dependency in your POM:

      protected final View<CyEdge> edgeView
      The edge view that descendant tasks will operate on.

    • netView

      protected final CyNetworkView netView
      The network view associated with edgeView.

      public AbstractEdgeViewTask(View<CyEdge> edgeView, CyNetworkView netView)
      Base constructor for all tasks that need an edge view to operate on.
      Parameters:
      edgeView - the edge view to work with for this task
      netView - the network view that contains "edgeView"
